We Have the Choice
This verse is part of a parable Jesus told to help describe what the kingdom of God is like. This parable follows three servants. Two of them take what they were given and build on it. One didn't do anything with what he had been given. The two who did something received a good reward. The one who did nothing blamed everybody except himself for his failure.
This story is a type and shadow of what God is like. We have the choice to either do something with what He gives or do nothing at all with it. It is my desire to be faithful with what God has given me.
I want to hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant!" Can there be any better compliment than that?
