Wheat and Tares

There are two kinds of wisdom: the wisdom that comes from God and the wisdom of the world. God's wisdom is found by studying His word. The wisdom of this world comes from denying God's wisdom.

All you have to do is look at what is going on to realize the world is moving away from God at full speed. The 'wisdom' of this world is based on lies, while God's wisdom is based on truth.

Jesus told a parable about the wheat and the tares. Tares look like wheat, but they aren't wheat. In this parable, the harvesters (angels) wanted to pull out the tares, but God wouldn't let them do it because some wheat would be lost in the process. God told them to let the wheat and tares grow up together, and they would be separated at harvest time.

God is watching over His wheat to protect and nurture it. The tares are also being watched, but for the judgment to come. Our assignment is to preach the wisdom of God to all who will listen and accept Jesus, the wisdom of God.
