Seed Minded

Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure you use, it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38

I read a story recently about a man in Canada, who was having trouble with bears getting into his garbage. The guy got a dog to keep the bears out. One bear sized up the situation and started bringing deer bones to the dog. The dog, in turn, gave the bear access to the garbage. This scene played out time and again much to the displeasure of the man. This bear, all on his own, figured out the principle of sowing and reaping better than most Christians.

From the beginning, God intended for man to live and prosper according to seed time and harvest, sowing and reaping, giving and receiving. If you truly desire God's blessing on your life, follow the principles He laid out. Develop the mindset of working for a giving, not a living. Become seed minded instead of need minded. I give that crazy bear a lot of credit, although I doubt his motives were pure. He is, after all, a bear.
