The Goodness of God

Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase. Proverbs 3:9

I was in Rochester, Mn. earlier this week having a checkup at Mayo. It snowed all day and I was in the hotel lobby waiting for a shuttle that never came. My son, Chris, was with me so I got him to take me to my appointment. The lobby was full of people that needed rides to the clinic. This sparked something in Chris and Wilson Shuttle Service was born.

I knew nothing of this until I needed a ride back until he came and got me between his other runs. Neither of us knew this would happen but we both felt that we needed to take my 4-wheel drive pickup for the trip. What a blessing this turned out to be! Chris was having so much fun he was still at it at 8:00 that night. One couple took us out to dinner and the hotel comped my room for two nights. One person got saved and several got prayed for. The goodness of God brought joy and laughter. We could have easily thought only of ourselves and missed all that.
