Gods Plan

I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning. Isaiah 46: 9b&10a

I wrote out a business plan years ago that I thought was perfect. I put every detail and contingency I could think of into it. Despite my best efforts, the business doesn't look anything like what I envisioned. I don't think I'm alone in this. Every human endeavor is subject to change because we simply don't have the capability to see future events.

Now, get ahold of this truth- God completed everything before He started anything and has never deviated from His plan. In all fairness, He has an advantage over us (ya think?!). God is not locked into time like we are. He sees very clearly how things are going. The enemy has absolutely no power over God's plan.

When God declared He would return for a church without spot or wrinkle, He meant it and He will have it. The church Jesus comes back for may not look anything like what exists right now, and I'm okay with that no matter how it messes up my theology. The bottom line here is that God has a plan, established before time began, that will come to pass exactly as He laid it out.
