Who We Represent
Observe people who are good at their work- skilled workers are always in demand and admired; they don't take a backseat to anyone. Proverbs 22:29
People who are good at what they do have been highlighted throughout the Bible. When Moses built the tabernacle, skilled goldsmiths and silversmiths were needed for the construction. When King Jehoshaphat was facing war, he was instructed to find skilled musicians and singers to go before the army. In our world today, sadly, people have gotten lazy. The desire to really excel at something has all but died out. People are content just to get by.
Years ago, I had a young man work for me while he was in college. He was a rare find. He had a work ethic that made him stand out. He never had an inflated view of himself, and there was never a job that was beneath him. He was one of those who excelled at whatever he did. He went on to become very successful.
As Christians, it is wise to remember that we represent the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is deserving of our very best. When you choose to excel, you will get noticed. That is guaranteed in writing!
