Having Faith in God

So Jesus answered and said to them, "have faith in God." Mark 11:22

Anyone who listens to any teachings on faith knows these verses well. Most of the time, verse 22 is skipped over, but this is where we are today.

As I was pondering this passage, Holy Spirit directed me to this verse. Jesus laid out in four words how He did the miracles He did. He spent so much time with Father God that He became more real to Him than the people around Him. It is important to understand that Jesus did everything He did as a man. Philippians 2:7 tells us that He emptied Himself of His heavenly position and came in the form of a man. That means that everything He knew of Who He was, He learned as a man. This is why Jesus could tell us to have faith in God! He wasn't telling us something we couldn't do, He was showing us what was possible for us to do.

I don't have any idea how many Christians there are in the world today, but nothing would make God a prouder Father than to have every one of His children going around doing the things that Jesus did when He was here!
