Gods Equipped

And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him[Gideon] and said to him, " the Lord be with you, you mighty man of valor! Judges 6:12

Whose voice do you listen to concerning you? There are different voices saying different things concerning you. You can be the harshest critic when it comes to defining yourself since you live with yourself 24/7. There is what other people say about you and what you perceive they are saying about you. And then there is how God sees you.

Gideon saw himself as small, weak, and a nobody. God saw him as a mighty man who would save Israel. Gideon even argued with God about what He said. We do the same thing today. God may be calling you into something you don't feel qualified for. Well, here's a news flash! No one is qualified for what God has for them to do. God isn't looking for the perfect people for a job opening. He's looking for someone to say yes. You would be doing yourself a huge favor by stopping listening to all the other voices, including your own. If God calls you, He will equip you. Gideon found that out!
