And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8

Do you trust that God is with you? Do you believe that He won’t ever leave you? Sometimes we think that God is only with us if we are “good.” If that is you, let me help you out. We can never be “good enough” for God. That’s why we need Jesus. Jesus is the One that is good. And only through Him are we made righteous, which means we have right standing with God.

Because of Jesus, God will never leave you nor forsake you. You are bought and redeemed by the blood of Jesus. That precious blood cost a lot – of course, God is with you! God knows your worth. The devil knows your worth. The question is, do you know your worth?

If you ever doubt that God is with you, you probably don’t understand the love of God and how much you mean to Him. You are His child, and God takes care of His children. You never have to fear that God’s love for you wanes or that you can do anything to negate His love.

Maybe you feel condemned because you’re not living the way you know you should. Don’t let the devil keep you discouraged. We have all sinned and have missed the mark of “good.” Grab ahold of 1 John 1:8-9 which says, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

If you need to get right with God, do it and never doubt His love for you. He is always with you and will never forsake you all the days of your life.

Dear Lord, thank you for sending Jesus to die for me, cleansing me from my sin. I trust you are with me and will never leave or forsake me. Amen.
