Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:3-5

God’s plan for your life is beyond what you could ever hope or imagine. He knows exactly what you are created for and what would bring you so much joy. The question is, do you trust Him enough to bring it to pass?

Sometimes the path that God has us on doesn’t seem like the best one to take; Nevertheless, it is the path that will take us to where we desire. Many times the journey to the best destinations are on roads that are less than desirable and take a lot of time and effort to get there.

Easy, cheap, and quick sound good, but what if you went to a nice restaurant and they brought out a microwave meal? You would be pretty upset. Why? Because we know that instant food doesn’t compare to a meal prepared by a chef who has been trained and has the experience to make a superb meal.

If you commit your way to the Lord and trust in Him, He will take you on a journey that may not be the smoothest and easiest, but it will be well worth it in the end. Don’t settle for easy. Trust God to take you to the life you desire.

Dear Lord, help me to trust your plan for my life. I commit all of my ways to you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
