Keep the Faith

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7

I can think of no greater testimony than what Paul stated here. Throughout his ministry, Paul never deviated from or sidestepped his calling. He never forgot what his mission was even though, at times, everything seemed to be against him. Paul never said "This is too hard for me".

How many times in life do we come against a brick wall, so to speak? If I could give you a word of encouragement, it would be to never give up. You might be facing what seem like insurmountable odds. Don't give up, press through.

We are interesting creatures. We have the power to create, and the power to persevere. We hit a roadblock and give up, and then blame God because He must have not wanted us to do that. God is not sitting in heaven thinking of ways to disrupt our lives. That doesn't even make sense. The only way for you to be defeated is to quit. When you hit that hard place, and you will, remember that you are the victor, not a victim.
