The Day of Reckoning
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will bring both to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the councils of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God. 1 Corinthians 4:5
Jesus told a parable about the wheat and tares in Matthew 13. Tares look like wheat but they are weeds. In this parable, the tares were intentionally sown by an enemy. The owner of the field is God, and the servants are angels, while the enemy represents satan.
(No surprise here!) there is a lot of injustice going on in the world today that you and I aren't aware of, but God is. He is keeping track of everything and there is a day of reckoning coming when all will be brought to the light of day, even the secret motives behind the actions. We aren't called to rid the world of evil, our job is to be the light in the world and to stop satan in his tracks. Nothing can change the world more than a praying church that walks in truth and power and love.
