Purpose and Order

"Let all things be done decently and in order." 1 Corinthians 14:40

In case you haven't noticed, God is very orderly in all of His creation. He didn't just decide one day to make everything and just throw it out there and hope for the best. He planned out and calculated everything He created. That is so different from evolution, which teaches that the order that we know came out of complete chaos. That doesn't even make sense. Since everything produces after its kind (Genesis 1), you can't produce purpose by accident.

I was watching a company perform their work one time. The more I watched, the more confused I got. Everyone was working hard, but nothing was getting done. There was simply no logic applied to what they were doing. For my own sanity, I had to quit watching. That company went broke shortly after that.

God has an expectation for each of us to guide our lives with purpose and order. After all, shouldn't we imitate our Heavenly Father?
