A Lazy Christian’s Trap

This doesn't sound lazy; it sounds prudent or logical. However, what were other people doing? Were they going about their business? The fact of the matter is, at this point in history, lions and people living in close proximity was a way of life. For reference, read Psalm 104:19-23.

The point is lazy people make excuses; diligent people find a way. David didn't flinch when a lion tried to eat his sheep. He killed it with his bare hands. He had a job to do, which was to protect his sheep. No lion was going to run him off!

A lot of Christians fall into this trap. They hit a roadblock, and instead of finding another way, they bring God into their drama by saying things like, 'I guess God didn't want me to do that'!

99.99% of the time, God had absolutely nothing to do with the situation. They just got lazy and stopped instead of applying 1 Corinthians 15:38, being steadfast and immovable against the very thing that tried to stop them.
