Victory in your Veins

This verse is one of my daily confessions, but what does it really mean? If you read the verses around it, you get a picture of Jesus. Since His death and resurrection, every day since then has been worth celebrating.

Ephesians 1:19&20 says that the same power that God used to raise Jesus out of hell resides in each one of us who have Jesus in us. There is no reason to live a defeated life when victory is flowing in your veins!

Notice in today's verse that rejoicing is an act of our will. That is because sometimes rejoicing is the last thing we want to do. If satan can keep us from rejoicing, he can defeat us. I can tell you that if you rejoice in those times when nothing in you wants to, you not only begin to feel better, but you send panic through the enemy's camp. That is worth it right there!

Start your day thanking God for His goodness, and you have put your best foot forward.
