Mountain Mover

Two words just jumped out at me when I read this verse. The word of God is EFFECTIVE and the word of God WORKS! When we put the word to work in whatever situation we are facing, it goes to work immediately. Most often, we hurt ourselves because we don't think it's working because we don't see results right away. Instead, of keeping the switch of faith turned on through speaking the word, we don't think it's working and we speak non-working words over the situation defeating our faith.

If you want to be a mountain mover (see Mark 11:23), speak to the mountain instead of talking about it. Our tendency is to tell God how big our mountain is. If you want to see God-kind-of results, start telling your mountain how big your God is!
