Promised Protection
"And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field," says the Lord of hosts " Malachi 3:11
This is a verse tied directly to tithing, and yet very few people see this happen for them. Why? The reason is simple; they aren't putting their faith to work in this area and expecting God to make it happen.
There is a farmer in North Dakota who put his faith to work where this verse is concerned. He paid his tithe in advance based on what he was expecting his harvest to be. Talk about a faith walk! His crops were nearing harvest when some major summer storms appeared with devastating hail. This farmer took his tithe statement, ran out into his field, and held that statement in the air. He rebuked the devourer in the name of Jesus AND reminded God of His promise. That storm rolled through the area destroying everything in its way....., until it got to this farmer's fields. The storm followed the fences around the fields but didn't cross the fence. The local news outlets hired helicopters to go up and take pictures. Everything inside his property was perfect, and everything outside his property was totally destroyed.
God is wanting to do His word for you, to show Himself strong on your behalf. Are you willing to trust Him completely?
