Seek Relationship

"A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favor rather than silver and gold." Proverbs 22:1

Money, fame, and lots of things are the lowest form of wealth there is. A relationship is the highest form.

In 1 Chronicles 1:7, God appeared to King Solomon and asked what He could give him. Solomon didn't ask for wealth or riches or honor. He asked for wisdom and knowledge so he could lead Israel properly. Solomon chose relationship over wealth. God gave him wisdom and knowledge, and then He gave him wealth and riches beyond measure as a bonus. I find it fascinating that no other king after Solomon asked for wisdom for relationship, and none came close to his wealth and honor.

If you seek wealth and honor, you will trample on people to get it. When you seek relationship, you elevate people and get blessed in the process.
