Spirit, Soul, Body

"Now May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body......" 1 Thessalonians 5:23a

I know I have used this verse before, but it is good to go over things periodically to keep them fresh. We are three-part beings. We are a spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body. We are the only beings on this earth that have a spirit. We are designed to live forever and ever without end.

You may wonder what your spirit looks like. It looks just like you. There is a verse that says, "We will be known just as we are known". This simply means that when you die, your spirit moves into eternity, but your body stays here. Your body dies, but your spirit lives on. I will continue this next time.
