Blurred Lines
I was watching a Senate hearing the other day, and this witness was asked a yes or no question and couldn't answer it. The question was, "Do you know what a woman is?" I really felt sorry for this person because they couldn't answer 'yes.'
Very few people are capable of giving a simple answer anymore. Jesus was very clear when He said, "Anything more than that is from the wicked one." Satan has worked hard to blur the lines between yes and no, good and evil, right and wrong.
What is sad to me is how this has crept into the church. "I'll try!" "I want to be there." "I'll see what I can do." have all become substitutes for yes or no.
Lately, we have been talking about being doers of the word (James 1:22). Be doers of this. A simple yes or no is all that needs to be said.
